The Blue Spotted Grouper is also commonly referred to as the Bluespotted Grouper, Argus Grouper or Peacock Hind. With its beautiful color along with light blue dots over the body, the Blue Spotted Grouper makes a stunning addition to any tank. It grows up to 19 inches and needs to be kept in a tank not less than 100 gallon. The Blue Spotted Grouper is extremely aggressive and may eat its tank mates as well as crustaceans, that is why the Blue Spotted Grouper may considered reef safe but with caution. The Blue Spotted Grouper mainly feeds on meaty foods such as krill, shrimp, and other small fish. It thrives well in a temperature range of 72-78 degrees Fahrenheit and pH of 8.1-8.4. The Blue Spotted Grouper is quite easy to keep because it eats everything it is given. The Blue Spotted Grouper is a solitary predator fish that likes to hang out among the rocks and needs a tank with many overhangs and rockwork.
