The Abalone Racer - Fuzzy Tiger, Hailotis asinina, also known as the Ass-Ear's Abalone, is a tropical gastropod, or a large sea snail. The shell quite resembles a donkey's ear. Their shells can grow up to 12 cm and they have 6-8 holes in the shell as it grows. The Abalone Racer is usually a green or brown color on the exterior while the interior can often have a lustrous iridescent sheen. They are nocturnal and scavenge tanks for food. Overall, the Abalone Racer - Fuzzy Tiger, is a unique and easy to care for invertebrate.
This little guy is fun to watch, doing his little thing.He is a great addition to my reef tank.
