Upgrades your MP40w drive to MP40w
Has many modes and is highly controllable
Constant Speed Mode- Pump runs continuously at a constant speed
Ecosmart Nutrient Transport Mode (NTM)- Alternates between a resonant standing wave and a surge effect to stir up and export nutrients; promotes maximum health, nutrient export, and increased growth in corals.
Ecosmart Tidal Swell Mode (TSM)- Creates a balance in your aquarium mimicking the changing flow conditions that would be found in nature.
Reef Crest Random Mode- Simulates the high-energy conditions of a natural reef environment.
Lagoonal Random Mode- Simulates the gentle reef zone found in a natural lagoon.
Short Pulse Mode- Allows for wave pulse times between 0.3 and 2 seconds, enables fast alternating flow.
Long Pulse Mode- Allows for wave pulse times between 2 and 60 seconds, enables slow alternating flow.
Feed Mode- Slows down pump to allow user to feed the aquarium.
Night Mode- Automatically reduces speed at night and at operates at that speed during a time of the night.
Battery Backup Mode- When using the backup battery accessory, the pump will automatically switch over to backup battery mode during a power outage.
Auto-Dim- LED's are turned off and display knobs are dimmed while pump keeps at its current function.
On/Off Switch- Hit on/off switch to turn the pump on or off. Hold this button to turn off all pumps in a master group.
