The Red Scooter Dragonet is commonly referred to as the Starry Dragonet or Stellate Dragonet. It is a typical dragonet with top mounted eye and pointed petite mouth. The Red Scooter Blenny?s body is a mottling of red and white with large dark spots, which contributes to great camouflage. It is called scooter because of the way it swims. The Red Scooter Blenny appears as if it is scooting over the substrate of the aquarium. It is very easy to keep a Red Scooter Blenny if provided with the right environment and an adequate diet. The aquarium must have proper caves and hiding places, thereby the presence of live rocks and sandy substrates are indispensable in your fish tank. It is indigenous to the Pacific Ocean, from southern Japan to Marquesan Islands. The Red Scooter Blenny is a very peaceful fish and can be kept along with other tank inhabitants. It loves to sift through the sand in search of food and with its pointed mouth it can easily catch the micro fauna. The Red Scooter Blenny can either be kept singly or in groups. Usually males have a ?flag shaped? dorsal fin which they use to signal females and deter other males. The Red Scooter Blenny can grow up to 5 inches and can flourish in temperature with range of 72-78 degrees Fahrenheit. The Red Scooter Blenny needs a minimum 30 gallon of water for its proper survival and growth. They are great grazers and need to be fed multiple times in a day for their continued good health. The Red Scooter Dragonet diet should consist of brine shrimp, bloodworms and glassworms, and small invertebrates. It thrives well in a temperature range of 72-78 degrees Fahrenheit and pH of 8.1-8.4.

The Orange Scorpion is a small fish which is white with red markings. They spend most of their time skipping and hopping from place to place. The Orange Scorpion is a very peaceful fish that loves a tank with lots of rockwork. Their main diet is microfauna, so they should be introduced into a tank with lots of Live Rock. They make excellent additions to reef tanks. The Dragonet family of fish are small fish that are usually found hopping around reefs.
