Mussids, or corals that belong to the Family Mussidae (Acanthastrea, Australomussa, Blastomussa, Cynarinia, Lobophyllia, Mussa, Mussismilia, Scolymia, and Symphyllia) are the second most hardiest and abundant of lps corals. These corals are found in shallow back-reef and lagoon sections along the tropical Pacific & Atlantic coastlines. These animals will do fine under minimal conditions; moderate illumination and flow need to be provided. Aquarists of all skill levels can easily enjoy these animals!
