ECO-GORGONIAN ™ are sustainably produced Caribbean photosynthetic gorgonians. Small frags are sustainably collected in the Caribbean and then are attached to coral plugs & grown in a Florida greenhouse until encrusted and ready for the home aquarium. The adult colony is in no way affected and regrows its branches creating a no impact sustainably collected gorgonian for your saltwater reef tank.

The Hazel Eunice is a very hardy gorgonian that will provide instant verticality to an aquascape. However, it shouldn't be allowed to come into direct contact with other gorgonians, corals, or anemones to minimize inter-species aggression. Slender Eunices can adapt to a wide variety of lighting and prefer decent water flow. It does not require, but will appreciate feeding from planktonic coral foods.
Eunice gorgonians appear fuzzy when the polyps are extended, but they all have a relatively rough tissue texture defined up upturned calyces.
