Amphipods are an essential part of your reef aquarium ecosystem. Amphipods are a good source of food for fish which can be always available. Amphipods will reproduce in your aquarium as long as they are provided with an area to refuge themselves as would be in a aquarium refugium.
Our Amphipods are herbivores and detritivores which will help signifally in grazing algae / plant matter and aquarium debris which aids in a balanced and healthy aquarium.
Our bags will contain hundreds of amphipods, many will be small while others are larger and easily viewed in the bag. They will arrive in a small filter cloth where they live and breed in our facility. You may simply attached this to your aquarium with a veggie clip or tie down with a small piece of rock until they all leave the cloth at which time you may remove from the aquarium.
