Bumble bee snails are small stunning snails with a striped black and yellow pattern that resembles the pattern of a bumble bee. They originate from the Indo-Pacific region, but can also be found in the waters of Florida.
They clean away detritus, including uneaten meaty foods and decomposing organisms. This snail also burrows into your sand bed, and consumes sand-dwelling worms, and helps aerate your substrate.
The Bumble Bee Snail likes to consume foods off of live rock and deep sand beds.
